Role Requirements
No. of Position: 1
- Must have as a minimum 3 years of Consulting experience in all aspects of the eDiscovery document evidence management realm, including litigation review platform experience, particularly within the RelativityOne and/or Nuix Discover platforms.
- Exceptional knowledge of Relativity Review workspace is essential.
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with web applications.
- Expertise and experience in assisting clients in managing eDiscovery matters.
- Strong project management skills.
- Effective at controlling client expectations and proven client relations experience within the e-Discovery realm.
Role Description
The purpose of the Consultant is to provide guidance to our clients around the delivery of eDiscovery and litigation solutions using a combination of Law In Order’s review platforms and services.
The Consultant is a key champion of the LIO Project Management offering and will champion and deliver innovative solutions to help increase the effectiveness, efficiency and reduce the cost of litigation processes to LIO clients.
The Consultant will help develop solutions that address the client’s specific business requirements, is responsible for delivering in-depth presentations around product functionality, process workflow, customisation, implementation and technology integration, as well as presentations around the field of eDiscovery in general.
The Consultant will liaise closely with the Senior Consultant and the TechOps team to ensure that necessary support is provided to the client, including assisting the consulting teams in all Australian states when required.
Primary Responsibilities
As an eDiscovery Consultant with Law In Order, you will deliver effective eDiscovery solutions and support in the growing legal technology sector.
In this autonomous, challenging, and varied role, you will:
- Provide guidance to our clients in relation to eDiscovery, including but not limited to, user creation, coding layout creation, creating saved searches and STR’s, running analytics and creating review queues of documents to review for disclosure and preparation of disclosures.
- Determine the appropriate application of technology, implementation of effective workflows and develop efficient project plans in liaison with the client for each allocated project.
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with client contacts on allocated matters to proactively ensure that appropriate workflows are in place and being utilised whist also assisting the client to ensure each stage of the project is being managed to plan.
- Build and manage strong relationships with our clients.
- Liaise with the various groups within the business to manage client’s expectations and ensure that deadlines are met, and quality standards are upheld.
- Ensure all Quality Assurance processes are completed.
- Ensure appropriate resources are defined to complete jobs relating to consulting matters.
- Convey and always ensure client instructions are clear before commencement of a job to guarantee efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage and track project deliverables.
- Ensure that billable and non-billable time for all engagements is recorded in real-time and in an accurate manner.
- Assist colleagues on technology and take regular sessions with the internal team.
- Ensure appropriate use of LIO eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Nuix Discover.
- Ensure appropriate use of LIO software including Agility Blue, Confluence and eDiscoTech.
Billable Targets:
The Consultant is expected to maintain a billable ratio of 65%. It is noted that this target may be adjusted at the discretion of the Head of Consulting.
